Years of Industry Excellence
Steve Germain Automotive was founded to give drivers a straightforward alternative to surprise repair bills. We write contracts that name the assemblies we will pay for, we staff a claims desk that talks to service advisors in their language, and we keep deductibles visible before you enroll.
Our specialists review manufacturer service information, typical failure miles, and shop labor guides so the plan you buy is sized for the vehicle you actually park in the driveway. We do not hide waiting periods in footnotes, and we explain wear-item exclusions before you sign.
Plans follow turbochargers, dual-clutch units, ADAS sensors, and battery-management modules as vehicle technology changes.
Every contract states what is covered, what is excluded, how to claim, and how the deductible is applied.
Take the car to a licensed facility. We coordinate authorization so work is not delayed by paperwork.
Our underwriting and claims teams include former service writers and diagnostic specialists. That mix means a quote is not a guess, and a denied line item always comes with a reason you can read.
Complete claim files are reviewed promptly so parts can be ordered.
We match the diagnosis to the contract instead of rubber-stamping every estimate.
Advisors keep training on hybrid, diesel, and performance powertrains.

Most vehicle owners only discover how a warranty works when something expensive breaks. We reverse that. During enrollment we collect year, make, model, trim, mileage, and a short maintenance history. Underwriting then maps typical failure points for that platform: timing systems, transmission valve bodies, transfer cases, HVAC compressors, and control modules. The plan we offer is the one that actually pays for those assemblies, not a generic brochure.
Once you are a customer, the shop becomes our partner. A service advisor can email a diagnosis and we reply with an authorization, a not-covered explanation, or a request for testing. Direct pay to the facility is the default so you are not floating a large bill. If a part is on back-order, rental benefits on Gold and Platinum plans can help you stay mobile.
Education is part of the product. Our site, emails, and plan packets explain waiting periods, pre-existing conditions, and the difference between a breakdown and wear. That honesty is why so many of our policyholders renew when a contract term ends.
